DESCRIPTION:
French portico clock reproduction, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven over sized French-style movement in a four-column case of variegated gray marble with applied cast gilt ornaments and pendulum, Breguet style hands.
CONDITION:
heavy polished marble case is in excellent condition. Chapter lines and numerals on were rather crudely painted. Unsigned movement with lantern pinions strikes on a bell. Castings are of decent quality. The gray and red marble is very pleasing to the eye.
